Capital Area Recycling and Trash Works to Correct Lansing Autopay Issue

Residents of Lansing, Mich. recently received late payment notices to their dismay.

The city's trash hauler, Capital Are Recycling and Trash, mistakenly unenrolled customers from its autopay system. Service has remain uninterrupted as the company works to correct the issue.

Residents were told by city workers that the glitch was on CART's end. However, this has not been confirmed.
