Former Carlton Co. Landfill Employee Ordered to Pay $1M

A former Carlton County landfill employee has been ordered to pay a million dollars in restitution after stealing from the county.
63–year–old Joanne Wappes pleaded guilty today to embezzling upwards of a million dollars of taxpayer money from the Carlton County Landfill Transfer Station.
