The New York City Business Integrity Commission (BIC) issued a 47-count administrative violation for illegal dumping of construction waste to Scaramella Trucking Ltd., an offense that carries a maximum penalty of $470,000.

The commercial waste hauler illegally dumped 47 truckloads of construction waste at various private locations in Staten Island, the BIC said in a news release. It said that Scaramella disposed of construction millings improperly at various locations to lower its costs.
