Washington, D.C. -- In response to last Tuesday's terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center towers and the Pentagon, several trucking companies have increased the use of electronic tags and satellites to track their cargo loads.

The American Trucking Associations (ATA) also has offered security tips to drivers and their companies. Visit ATA's website at www.truckline.com>.

The ATA also has asked truckers to drive with their lights on Tuesday, Sept. 18, in support of the U.S. government.
