The junk removal firm 1-800-GOT-JUNK? says it will recycle at least half of the 16 tons that are expected to be generated in Sunday’s 24th annual AIDS Walk New York in Central Park. This marks the second year that the company is providing waste removal services for the event.

Last year, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? assigned 19 trucks to the event. This year, the firm will use 24 trucks.

"It's challenging to sort the mass of cups, bottles, wrappers, paper, and miscellaneous garbage into different trucks because all those materials are recycled differently," sais Cameron Robinson, manager of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?’s Manhattan office, in a press release. "But we have this down to an art."
