Essex County councillors on Wednesday trashed any plans to consider accepting a limited amount of outside garbage at the regional landfill.
Essex Deputy Mayor Richard Meloche made the motion opposing any change in the previous decision of the Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority to only accept refuse at the regional landfill that originates from the Windsor-Essex County region.
