ISRI, Earth911 Form Recycling Education Partnership
The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) has formed a partnership with Earth911 to educate the public about recycling and waste reduction.
The Washington-based ISRI said in a news release that the strategic partnership combines ISRI’s knowledge of industry experts and the Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Earth911's ability to reach an audience of more than nine million readers interested in reducing waste and learning more about recycling.
The partnership will include several components, including ISRI providing content for Earth911's website, monthly newsletters and a series of educational infographics. Also, the two organizations will conduct quarterly polling to gather data on the public's view of recycling. In addition, ISRI members will be featured in the Earth911 Recycling Guide to help consumers find nearby recyclers.
“Partnering with Earth911 was a natural fit for ISRI," said Robin Wiener, ISRI president. "This innovative collaboration combines content from experts in the field with a large audience looking for additional resources on how to reduce waste.”
Earth911 is a subsidiary of Quest Resource Holding Corp.
