The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) and the Environmental Research & Education Foundation (EREF) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) regarding the administration of the Statistics Program. With the MOU, the Statistics Program will be a collaborative partnership between NWRA and EREF and will be co-branded between them.

“This project with EREF is an opportunity for both organizations to continue to build and expand our relationship and develop additional branding and growth opportunities. The program is an important benefit to our supplier members, and I am pleased that the staff of EREF will assist us,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith in a statement.

EREF has a long history of providing the industry with needed data and research to inform everyday practices and decisions. We have the resources to manage all the technical aspects of the Statistics Program. We have enjoyed a longstanding relationship with NWRA, and we are glad to continue that with our work on this important project,” said Bryan Staley, EREF president and CEO, in a statement.

The purpose of the Statistics Program is to provide routine reporting of units sold and analysis of sales trends relative to broader industry and economic trends.
