Scenes from Day One of WasteExpo 2019

WasteExpo 2019 kicked off with a bang (and a rockin' dance battle). Monday included a number of education sessions that focused on topics like technology, safety, labor, finance, construction and demolition, waste-to-energy, food waste, anaerobic digestion, recycling and more. In addition to WasteExpo's education tracks, day one included tracks from the Composting & Organics Recycling Conference and the Food Recovery Forum. Day one also included the seventh annual Waste360/Stifel Investor Summit. The day concluded with the WasteExpo Welcome Reception at the Jewel Nightclub in the Aria Hotel, where attendees networked and participated in a dance battle.
