Waste Pro’s Meehan Appointed to Pinellas County, Fla., Solid Waste Committee

Waste Pro announced that Municipal Marketing Manager and Waste360 40 Under 40 award recipient Tracy Meehan has been selected for a committee of the Pinellas County, Fla., Board of County Commissioners.

The board announced it unanimously approved Meehan to the Solid Waste Technical Management Committee, which reviews and makes recommendations on rates, policies, facilities, technologies and more. As a member of the committee, Meehan will represent private sector solid waste services firms.

Meehan has been a Waste Pro employee since June 2014, and she is president of the board of Keep Pinellas Beautiful, which recently won the Award of Excellence. Keep Pinellas Beautiful is the local affiliate of the national organization Keep America Beautiful, which aims to improve the environment.
