Weather Prompts Waste Management in Indiana to Cancel Waste Collection, Close Landfills

Waste Management Inc. has cancelled its collection service and closed its landfills in Indiana Jan. 6 because of severe weather conditions.

Residential subscription customers will see resumed service Jan. 13. Residential collection service contracted with municipalities will resume depending on road and weather conditions, the Houston-based company said in a news release.
