Carter County, Tenn. to Create New Recycling Drop-off Site

Would recycling rates improve if consumers had more convenient access to recycling?
Carter County, Tenn.'s landfill committee recently approved $8,000 in funding for a new recycling drop-off site.
The site will be located in Elizabethton, where two other locations recently shut down. The county plans to install cameras and other security measures.
Residents currently can drop off materials at a facility with limited hours. However, the new site will be open 24 hours.
