Eastman Kodak Will Be Recycling Excess Expired Hand Sanitizer
Eastman Kodak will begin recycling hand sanitizer that was unsold after its overproduction peak pandemic. The packaging will be recycled and the hand sanitizer is being distilled to extract isopropyl alcohol.

During the height of the pandemic, hand sanitizer became a hot commodity. Due to this, companies began producing mass amounts of the product in order to keep everyone safe and keep the necessity accessible. As the pandemic slows down and the demand for hand sanitizer dramatically decreases, companies are looking for ways to utilize unused products. Eastman Kodak has begun the process of emptying sanitizer bottles, recycling the packaging, and distilling the hand sanitizer to extract isopropyl alcohol.
