Graphene Can Efficiently Extract Gold From Electronic Waste: Study

Gold is a fairly common material used in the production of electronic devices. Being a very integrated piece of these electronics, it can oftentimes be difficult to extract the gold from the other materials within the device. 

Researchers with Tsinghua University, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Institute of Metal Research under the CAS, and the University of Manchester have come together to tackle this problem to discover the most viable and effective method for pulling the gold in it's most reusable form from these electronics.
