Michigan Paper Mill Finds New Solution for Residuals

With a goal of making cartons yield 100% recycling rates, a number of different industry organizations are partnering together to make the most of the items recycled. 

Great Lakes Tissue teamed up with the Carton Council of North America, the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD), the Michigan Department of Environment, and Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) to purchase new equipment that will help them achieve this goal. Developers of the paper mill have already seen immense steps in the right direction and look forward to using this new tech to continue that forward motion.
