Seattle Public Utilities Launches Recycling Awareness Ad Campaign

Seattle — To celebrate America Recycles Day, Seattle Public Utilities, the Washington State Department of Ecology and a group of local solid waste agencies in the Puget Sound area have launched a television advertising campaign aimed at encouraging viewers to recycle. The campaign is titled, "Why Waste a Good Thing?" and is scheduled to run through the end of next year.

Monday, Nov. 15 is America Recycles Day. Governments and private companies across the nation will celebrate the occasion in a variety of ways. For more information, visit www.americarecyclesday.org.
