Silver Spring, Md. — The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA), Silver Spring, Md., has for sale on its Web site a book designed to help communities organize Christmas tree recycling programs. Titled "Christmas Tree Recycling Program Guidance: Bringing New Life to an Old Holiday Tradition," the publication features budget worksheets, sample announcements and tips on educating the community. It costs $45, and is available at www.swanastore.com.
