With COVID-19 remaining a continual challenge for the world, the regular use of single-use masks is not going anywhere.
One of the largest conversations concerning these masks since the beginning of the pandemic has been around the disposal of these products. The masks are made of mixed materials and are typically hard to recycle in a traditional manner, however, the more apparent it becomes that these important devices are here to stay, the more work researchers are putting into discovering ways they can be reused.
New studies on these masks have proven they have the potential to be used as cement additives, LED lights and more.
