Delray, Fla'.s Trash Hauling Contract Up for Approval

Delray Beach's new trash hauler may be the same as its current hauler.

Commissioners will consider approving a garbage hauling contract on Tuesday. If commissioners go with the company recommended by a city selection committee, the current vendor Waste Management will keep the job.

Five companies submitted proposals to the city vying for the seven-year contract, which is scheduled to begin on June 1 and expire on Sept. 30, 2022.
