Olof “Ole” Hallstrom Dies at the Age of 79

Olof “Ole” Hallstrom, who founded Tillamook, Ore.-based Hallco Manufacturing Co., died on May 27 at the age of 79. Hallco manufactures the Live Floor conveyor system used to unload trucks.

Hallstrom recently sold Hallco because of declining health.

Ole is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary; his children Vickie, Steve, Cindi, Dan and Penni; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial funds have been established in his name for the YMCA in Tillamook in care of Waud’s Funeral Home, 1414 3rd Street, Tillamook, Ore., 97141.
