Rizzo Services Chosen as Bloomfield Hills Waste Hauler

Bloomfield Hills city commissioners unanimously authorized city manager Jay Cravens entering into negotiations with Rizzo Services to be the city's single municipal waste hauler at their meeting on Tuesday, January 13.

In November, Bloomfield Hills voters approved a proposal to permit their city commissioners to adopt an ordinance to competitively bid and hire a single waste hauler for the city. For decades, Bloomfield Hills residents have hired their own solid waste and recyclable haulers, at their own cost.
