Balcones Buys Wandering River Recycling

Balcones Resources Inc. has purchased Wandering River Recycling for an undisclosed amount.

Balcones said in a news release the acquisition gives the company cart-based service for small businesses and multi-family residences. Both firms are based in Austin, Texas. Wandering River also focuses on events recycling in the Austin area. It has been in business since 2008.

“Adding the expertise of Wandering River to the Balcones Resources family allows us to be the most complete recycling provider in the market,” said Balcones CEO Kerry Getter.

Balcones characterized itself as the largest recycler in the Southwest not affiliated with a landfill.
