Waste Management Inc.’s Nevada subsidiary has bought Trash Pros for an undisclosed amount.

The Fernley-based Trash Pros provides waste collection services for the city of Fernley and unincorporated Churchill County. Trash Pros serves about 9,000 customers, according to Houston-based Waste Management officials. The news was published on a Waste Management of Nevada website.

Waste Management of Nevada provides services for about 131,000 customers and employs more than 300. Earlier this year it opened a landfill gas-to-energy facility at the Lockwood Regional Landfill.
