After a multi-million-pound investment, the Bristol Waste Company has begun construction on a new, state-of-the-art recycling facility in Avonmouth, UK.
The 23,250-square-foot recycling facility is said to revolutionize recycling in Avonmouth and is set to be completed in 2025. The facility will be equipped with machinery capable of sorting a wide range of recyclables such as steel, aluminum, cardboard, and plastic bottles.
“This new facility represents a significant investment in Bristol’s future,” said Dave Knight, interim managing director at Bristol Waste Company.
“Bristol is already the number one core English city for recycling, but we’ve got our sights set even higher. By improving local recycling facilities, we not only improve sorting and processing for Bristol Waste Company but also for the sector in the Southwest of England.”
