Recycling Resumes at Sonoita Landfill in Arizona

A drop-off center at the Sonoita landfill in Arizona is slated to reopen on Thursday, Feb. 3 following months of closure.
Officials shuttered recycling at the landfill after numerous loads were rejected due to overwhelming contamination.
"The success of the program relies on the quality of the recyclable materials," stated Assistant Landfill Superintendent Jerry V. Montoya
