Winter Weather Causes Recycling Delays in Austin

Unseasonable winter weather has been causing deplays in curbside pickup for weeks.

Following an ice storm just a couple weeks ago, Austin Resource Recovery has failed to catch up with its service. Combined with the labor shortage, Austin residents are experiencing a host of missed pickups.

Some customers could have a month of missed recycling in their carts before services are back to normal.
