Tobias Egle is a Harvard Ph.D. working at the intersection of Materials Science, Chemistry, and applied energy technology. He is very passionate about climate tech aiming to help us get to zero-emission. Besides his surface science and catalysis research, his  experience is at the nexus of pro-bono consulting and climate tech. In the energy and climate world, he has gained experience working at an early-stage startup and also dabbled with being a founder himself. Prior to his Ph.D., he studied Chemical Engineering in Germany. He has previously worked in various settings worldwide, from the Lawrence Livermore Laboratory in California to BASF in Shanghai to a community-driven poverty alleviation project in Namibia.
