Advanced Disposal Acquires Assets of Metro Hauling Services

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Advanced Disposal Services has completed its acquisition of certain assets of Metro Hauling Services, which provides waste collection services to businesses in the Atlanta area. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition includes a total of 300 frontload commercial customers, and includes contracts and containers. “Metro Hauling presented a great tuck-in opportunity to strengthen the density and efficiencies of our frontload collection operations in the greater Atlanta area,” said Advanced Disposal’s Georgia Area President Charlie Gray in a press release. “Customers can be assured they will continue to receive the most responsive and environmentally responsible solid waste services possible.”
