Covanta Holding Names New CFO

Fairfield, N.J.-based Covanta Holding has appointed Sanjiv Khattri to the positions of executive vice president and CFO, effective Aug. 16.

Khattri has more than 20 years of experience in financial leadership positions, according to a Covanta press release. At one time, he served as the CFO of General Motors Acceptance Corp.

“We are delighted to have Sanjiv join the Covanta team,” said Anthony Orlando, CEO of Covanta, in the press release. “He is a highly skilled financial officer with global scope and a wealth of experience in capital markets, strategic and financial planning, merger and acquisition and industrial management that will be extremely valuable to Covanta and our shareholders.”
