Delaware City, Del. -- Independent Disposal Services of Middletown has begun collection trash for Delaware City, under a three-year contract with the town. The private hauler will pick up trash once per week and are expected to save the town nearly $30,000 yearly in truck maintenance, insurance and salary costs.
