Eddie Dick resigns from TDS

Austin, Texas-Texas Disposal Systems has announced that President and Chief Operations Officer Eddie Dick submitted his resignation June 16 and left the company July 3. Dick has formed Eddie Dick & Associates, a business consulting company in Austin, Texas, that specializes in solid waste issues.

Prior to joining Texas Disposal Systems, Dick was executive vice president of Waste Industries, Inc., Raleigh, N.C. He has been active in the Environmental Industries Association (EIA), Washington, D.C. Dick has been a member of the EIA's Board of Trustees, has received the Member of the Year award in 1997 and a Special Trustee Award at Waste Expo 2003 held in New Orleans in June.
