A Stillwater, Minn.-woman taking her garbage to the curb in the wee hours of the morning was unpleasantly surprised when a neighbor jumped out from behind the bushes clicking a camera and wielding a pistol.

Apparently, the gun-slinging neighbor had waited all night to catch the woman secretly placing her garbage can on his property to avoid paying sanitation costs.

After authorities obtained a warrant to search her neighbor's house, they found a loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun, along with two other firearms and approximately 9,800 rounds of ammunition. The neighbor faces two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.

So much for “love thy neighbor.”
