Houston -- U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) officials have given the "all clear" to a neighborhood in which its residents believe was infested with hazardous runoff from an abandoned dump. Acres Homes residents believe the Booker Landfill was responsible for the high cancer rate in the area from the late 1970s to the early 1990s.
