Arlington, VA – The Board of Trustees for the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) unanimously approved a new membership category that will allow retired members to remain engaged with the Association on industry issues.

“The strength of our association and the waste and recycling industry remains its people,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “We are pleased to offer a new Retired Member category to individuals, who prior to their retirement from the industry were a member of NWRA through their company.”

The annual fee for the Retired Member category is $99 annually. Retired members may attend NWRA conferences at the discounted NWRA member price but cannot vote or be elected to office.
