NWRA Receives 2021 Energy and Environment Foundation Global Waste & Recycling Association of the Year Award

Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) was awarded the prestigious 2021 Energy and Environment Foundation (EEF) Global Waste & Recycling Association of the Year Award. The EEF Global Awards recognize outstanding organizations that are adding value through excellence in sustainability and waste management.

“NWRA is pleased to be honored by the international Energy and Environment Foundation with its Global Waste Management Award,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “We are proud to play a role in improving waste and recycling around the world.”

NWRA will be recognized on November 17, during the World Waste-to-Wealth Summit and Expo. Darrell Smith will also give a presentation titled “Leadership, Strategy, and Tactics in Waste and Recycling Public Policy Advocacy on November 15.

The EEF Global Awards is presented by the Energy And Environment Foundation, a not-for-profit non-governmental organization (NGO). It encompasses knowledge, ideas, innovations, technologies, and insight.
