Artist Sto Len works directly with the New York City Sanitization Department to create thought-provoking art about the importance of the department.

Len, a 40-year-old artist living in the city since 2000, is hired by the department as an "artist-in-residence" and is provided $40,000 in pay as well as two studios in Queens.
