Onyx Secures Waste Stream Disposal Contract with Ocala

Sarasota, Fla. – Onyx Waste Services of Florida Inc. has been awarded the Solid Waste Stream Disposal Options contract for the city of Ocala, Fla. The five-year contract begins Oct. 1 and should bring approximately 200 tons per day of municipal solid waste to Onyx’s Ocala transfer station. The refuse then will be transferred to Onyx’s Pecan Row landfill in Valdosta, Ga.
