New Delhi -- Toxics Link, an environmental group, has published a report stating that businesses and households discard 1.38 million obsolete computers each year but that India is using disposal technology the group calls "archaic," such as burning or landfilling. "Scrapping the High Tech Myth: Computer Waste in India" identifies several electronic waste (e-waste) issues and recommends government action.
