The Labrie Environmental Group, based in St. Nicolas, Quebec, announced the appointment of Gaétan Bolduc as national sales manager for the United States and Canada, effective Feb. 1, 2010. Bolduc will oversee the company's distribution network and regional sales teams, as well as business development activities.

Pittsburgh-based Liberty Tire Recycling appointed Dick Gust as co-chairman of the Tire Industry Association's (TIA) newly-formed Environmental Advisory Council (EAC). The EAC will help TIA members and others in the tire industry become more energy efficient, reduce waste, ensure safety and to reuse, repair or recycle tires as much as possible. Gust will help oversee the 12-member organization.
