SPE Seeks Plastics Award Nominations

Lindale, Ga. — The Plastics Environmental Division (PED) of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) is seeking nominations for its 2002 Excellence in Plastics Impact on the Environment award.

The award recognizes corporations and other institutions that have demonstrated environmental leadership and excellence through achievements in environmental stewardship, new technologies in materials and processes, enabling technologies in processes and procedures, and emerging technologies.

Nominations are due Nov. 30, 2002. Awards will be presented during the PED’s Global Plastics and Environmental Conference (GPEC) on Feb. 26-27, 2003, in Detroit.
