Framingham, Mass. -- In celebration of America’s Recycle Day on Nov. 15, Staples and the Boys &Girls Club of America (BGCA) announce a partnership to recycle cell phones and other mobile electronics. BGCA’s Torch Club for children ages 11 to 13 will collect used cell phones, PDAs, pagers and chargers for reuse and recycling. After the equipment is collected, local Staples stores will ship them to an e-waste recycling company. A portion of the proceeds Staples receives will be donated to the Sierra Club.
