The Detachable Container Association Board of Directors has established The Mickey & Ellen Flood Scholarship. The new scholarship program is aimed at benefitting NWRA Member Company employees and their dependents through the Women’s Council Scholarship.

The Mickey & Ellen Flood Scholarship was established not only to honor the memory of Mickey’s numerous contributions to our industry, but to also honor Ellen Flood as co-founder of the Women’s Council. Above all other pursuits, Mickey valued education, and it is our hope that this scholarship has enormous potential to initiate change through education that will play an important role in shaping the world’s future.

Funding for the scholarship will be made by generous donations from DCA and NWRA members and be granted annually by the Women’s Council through a fund within the DCA, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The DCA Board of Directors will provide a 100% matching gift for the first donations received up to $25,000.
