  • Stericycle, Lake Forest, Ill., has announced plans to acquire Bridgeview Inc., which should bring in an additional $5 million in revenue per year, the company says.

  • Safety Vision LP has acquired Repair All Electronics, both located in Houston.

  • Volvo Construction Equipment North America Inc., Asheville, N.C., has appointed Champion Road Machinery Sales, Brampton, Ontario, as its authorized compact construction equipment dealer in the province of Ontario.

  • The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc., Washington, D.C., has formed the Small Member Council to address the needs of small member companies.

  • Donaldson Co. Inc., Minneapolis, has received Level 1 verification from the California Environmental Protection Agency's Air Resources Board for its Diesel Oxidation Catalyst muffler and Spiracle crankcase ventilation filter.

  • Smurfit-Stone Container Corp., Chicago, has announced plans to convert the No. 1 paper machine at its Hodge, La., mill to kraft paper. The company will not restart its No. 1 paper machine at the Missoula, Mont., containerboard mill, nor will it continue operations at three container plants acquired from MeadWestvaco, Stamford, Conn.
