  • Stericycle Inc. has acquired Micro-Med Industries and expects the acquisition to add more than $11.5 million to annual revenues.

  • Announcements

  • Volvo Construction Equipment, Asheville, N.C., will stop manufacturing articulated haulers in its Asheville plant and start producing skidster loaders. The company says about 90 employees will be affected but also said it hopes to retain and retrain them.

  • Mack Trucks Inc., Lehigh Valley, Pa., will continue sponsoring the Alexandria, Va.-based American Trucking Association's safety program, Share the Road.

  • Cummins Inc., Columbus, Ind., will offer Encore Pre-Owned Industrial Engine Coverage for midrange and heavy-duty mechanical engines.

  • The Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Jefferson City, has awarded $140,000 in grants to projects that recycle or reduce waste.

  • Oakleaf Waste Management, East Hartford, Conn., has merged with Refuse Environmental Systems Inc.

  • Glass Aggregate Manufacturing Equipment (GAME), Faribault, Minn., was sold to T and M Engineering and will acquire a larger staff and facilities.
