Stericycle Inc. has acquired Micro-Med Industries and expects the acquisition to add more than $11.5 million to annual revenues.

Volvo Construction Equipment, Asheville, N.C., will stop manufacturing articulated haulers in its Asheville plant and start producing skidster loaders. The company says about 90 employees will be affected but also said it hopes to retain and retrain them.
