Veolia Names New CEO of Solid Waste Division

Milwaukee-based Veolia Environmental Services North America Corp. (VESNA) has named Jim Long as the new CEO of Veolia ES Solid Waste. Long replaces Richard Burke, who recently became president and CEO of VESNA. Most recently, Long was a partner with Pebble Creek Partners. He also served as president and CEO of ATC Transportation, which Veolia Transportation North America bought in 2005.

His decisive leadership abilities, integrity and astute understanding of our industry will be effective qualities for successfully leading our company into the future.”
