It turned out his wife had fallen the night before and he was unable to lift her back up on his own. Curtis and Travis quickly jumped into action, sanitized their hands, and helped lift her onto a sofa. The husband and wife assured the crew she was OK at that point and did not need any further medical assistance.

“You have two great gentlemen in your company,” the woman’s daughter, Kim, wrote in a letter to Division Manager Eric Saxton. “Curtis and Travis helping without hesitation the way they did just fills my heart and soul.”

Curtis and Travis both received $100 “Franklin” Awards, which are awarded to Waste Pro employees who go above and beyond providing exemplary service.
