WASTEC Publishes Stationary Compactor Guide

Washington, D.C. – The Waste Equipment Technology Association (WASTEC) has published the 12th edition of its Listings of Rated Stationary Compactors. The guide includes 254 modes of stationary compactors by 15 waste equipment companies rated by the manufacturer and evaluated according to WASTEC’s rating system. The listing was last updated in 2001.

“WASTEC is committed to providing accurate information about its members’ products and promoting the timely development of industry standards to ensure equipment safety and compatibility,” Gary Satterfield says, WASTEC’s executive vice president.

Six types of stationary compactors are included in the listing: stationary horizontal compactors; self-contained horizontal compactors; combination-containers; vertical compactors, apartment compactors; and pivoting ram compactors.
