Midwest Fiber Recycling has acquired commercial recycling firm Data Management Services Inc. for an undisclosed amount.

Normal, Ill.-based Midwest Fiber said in a news release the purchase of the Terre Haute, Ind.-based Data Management will combine their expertise. The merger will provide Indiana’s Greater Wabash Valley area with additional recycling services, while giving businesses the opportunity to reduce the amount of materials being sent to the landfill.

The companies’ combined capabilities also will generate near and long-term growth opportunities, creating more green jobs and diversifying the types of commercial materials that can be recycled, Midwest Fiber said.
