Veolia ES Solid Waste Appoints Tom Riek Vice President of Recycling

Veolia ES Solid Waste has appointment Tom Riek vice president of recycling, a newly created title within the firm. Riek “will work to continue to define Veolia’s recycling strategy, improve processes and develop new capabilities to enhance the company’s offerings to customers,” according to a Veolia press release.

“Our vision is ‘to be the company trusted by all to provide innovative, comprehensive and sustainable solutions,’” said Jim Long, president and CEO of Veolia ES Solid Waste. “Tom’s experience and expertise in various facets of our industry will serve us well as we continue to move forward with our goals.”

Prior to his appointment, Riek worked with Veolia ES Solid Waste as a partner of Pebble Creek Partners. Previously, he served as CEO of the Container Recycling Alliance.
