Phoenix Fibers Diverts Two Million Pounds of Clothing from Landfill Every Month

Since 2012, Phoenix Fibers has been working to divert using clothing from landfills. They've been achieving that goal at the rate of about 2 million pounds per month since day one.

Plant Manager Steve Johnson says they're only at the "tip of the iceberg" at what the company will be capable of doing in the future.  The disgarded textiles are utilized for bathtub insulation, food boxes and more.
